Discussion:
[Development] Stepping down as the Qt Quick Controls 2 maintainer

Hi all,

As you may have noticed, I haven't been actively working on Qt Quick
Controls 2 since last summer. I haven't had time to contribute, nor
fulfill my maintainer duties. I would therefore like to step down, and
propose Mitch Curtis as the new maintainer of the Qt Quick Controls 2
module. Mitch participated in QQC2 development early on, and is a
natural choice as the new QQC2 maintainer.

+1 for Mitch from me as well. He is a golden beacon of Qtlyness and has been rootin' around in that code since day 1.

*disclaimer I'm the founder of the Mitch fan-club, so I may be a bit biased.

Hello J-P,

Thank you very much for all the great work you did on Controls 2! And thank
you for passing on the maintainership in an orderly fashion :)

Cheers,
Frederik

PS: This makes me wonder if we also should do a round of maintainer updates in
other areas, since it seems like some people have been missing from the
project for a while.
